Wazoo Survival Gear started as a hobby with a facebook page in March 2010. The term Survival Bracelet seemed like overkill for a piece of string on your wrist. We decided to make a product worthy of the name! The feedback from customers and supporters encouraged us to turn it into a full-fledged Limited Liability Company on August 22, 2011. We work with Search and Rescue teams across the country, NASA engineers and material scientists, and the survival community to continually improve our products.
 

Our goal is to save lives. We strive to offer the highest quality, most practical survival kits on the market. We build survival kits inside everyday items that you'd have it with you at all times. After all, a survival kit doesn't do you any good if you don't have it with you when you need it! Our products are one way of achieving our life saving goal, but we don't stop there. A portion of all profits go back to funding non-profit Search And Rescue (SAR) organizations. These are the volunteers that will be deployed to come rescue you in your time of need. That's right, volunteers. These people dedicate hundreds of hours of their time and thousands of their hard earned dollars to train, certify, and aquire all the skills and equpment need to save your life. Wazoo Survival Gear proudly supports these organizations and their selfless volunteers!

 

Sure we could outsource all our labor over seas as many other companies have done, it would increase our production rate, decrease our overhead and result in us making more money... so why don't we? We want to make the best possible products, with the highest level of quality and customer service possible. We want to maintain a close connection with our customers to get feedback and continually improve our products and designs. We want to create more American jobs as we continue a steady, controlled growth and foster a fun work environment to maintain enthusiasm for the job and encourage creativity.
